Laughing Buddha with Five Children Statue – 3.3 ft Huong Stone Wood

This beautifully crafted Laughing Buddha statue is carved from solid Huong Stone wood, standing approximately 3.3 ft tall with a 2 ft diameter. The sculpture portrays Budai standing with a warm, joyful smile and his iconic large rounded belly, a symbol of happiness, abundance, and generosity. Surrounding the Buddha are five playful children, representing the traditional blessing of “Five Fortunes” – happiness, prosperity, longevity, health, and peace.

In one hand, the Buddha holds a ruyi scepter, a traditional symbol of authority and fulfilled wishes, while the other carries a cloth bag filled with ancient coins, representing wealth and blessings shared with others. Behind and beside the figure are large longevity peaches, symbols of long life and vitality. At the base of the statue sits a Qilin, believed to protect the home and attract prosperity. With its rich symbolism and fine hand-carved details, this statue makes a meaningful centerpiece for home altars, living rooms, or spiritual spaces.
